This is the first project developed by our founder, Jack Boyle of Vancouver BC. It packs a knockout punch in producing greenhouse gas emission reductions (or carbon offsets). Not only does the plant displace electricity produced from fossil-fuels (Utah generates ~95% of its power by burning coal), but it prevents the methane from an abandoned landfill from polluting the air. The destruction of methane, which is 21 times more damaging than carbon dioxide will generate over 1 billion pounds of carbon offsets over the lifetime of the facility.

This is the type of project that Cooler Skies Company hopes to build. So why support just a 'reseller' of offsets, when you can support an offset provider that will actually build emission reduction projects of this caliber.
